Sorry, het was alweer eventjes geleden dat ik iets op mijn blog plaatste, en de laatste tijd was het ook moeilijk om al jullie fijne blogs bij te houden en te lezen, wegens heel veel werk. Nog 2 weekjes hard werken en dan heb ik een weekje verlof en ga ik weer eens naar België, ik kijk er al naar uit.
Vandaag is Saskia jarig, die zich ook, net zoals ik, heeft ingeschreven op de verjaardagslijst van In2hobby.
De kaart die ik voor haar maakte, is misschien niet helemaal de stijl die jullie van mij gewend zijn, maar als iemand jarig is, vind ik het altijd belangrijk dat ik iets maak in de stijl of met een thema dat de jarige fijn vindt. En ik weet dat Saskia van vintage houdt, en daarom wou ik een iets klassiekere kaart proberen maken. Al moet ik wel toegeven dat het me best moeilijk viel om er iets van te maken. Ik hoop dat ze ze toch geslaagd vindt ...
En vliegensvlug is het ook alweer weekend geworden. Ik heb besloten dit weekend alleen maar fijne dingen te plannen. Ik ga nog wat verder werken aan mijn huishoudboekje voor mijn ma. Ik ben tot het inzicht gekomen dat het wegens tijdsgebrek niet meer gaat mogelijk zijn om een boekje te maken voor 2 jaar, dus ik leg me nu maar neer bij het feit dat het voor 1 jaar zal zijn. Dus nog 3 pagina's en dan is het af. Dat neemt toch op de één of andere manier de druk wat weg.
Verder ga ik ook nog een paaskadootje voor mijn pa in elkaar proberen steken. Ik verklap nog niet wat dat zal worden. En dan ga ik duchtig verder met het redigeren van foto's, en moet ik ook nog een reisboek van Corsica uitlezen dat binnen 2 weken terug naar de bib moet.

Sorry, it has been quit some days again since I had put something on my blog, and the latest time it has also been difficult to keep up with all your nice blogs and all of this due to too much work. 2 more weeks of hard working and then I will have a weeks holiday and I will be going to Belgium again, I'm already looking forward to it.
Today it's Saskia's birthday and she has, just like I, subscribed to the birthday list of In2hobby.
This birthday card that I made for her is perhaps not the style that you are used to see from me, but when I make birthday cards, I always find it important that I make something in the style or a theme that the birthday person likes. And I know that Saskia loves vintage, and that's why I wanted to try to make a more classical card. Although I have to admit that I found it rather difficult to make something good of it. I hope that she likes it anyway ...
And now it's weekend again, time is just flying. I decided to only plan fun things this weekend. I will work further on the housekeeping book for my mum. I have understood that I will not be able anymore to make a book for 2 years, due to lack of time, so I have kind of accepted that it will only be for 1 year. So 3 more pages to go and then it's finished. So in a way, that takes away quit a lot of pressure.
Furthermore I will try to make an Easter present for my dad. But I'm not going to tell you yet what that will be. And I will continue again to adjust my pictures, and I also have to read a travel guide about Corsica that needs to go back to the library in 2 weeks.

Bedankt Mich. Het is inderdaad een kaartje naar mijn hart, zo helemaal in vintage stijl. En nu vol spanning afwachten tot het in de brievenbus valt.....
